Towards Happiness | Relationality Part II: Gift of Self

Young professional women are invited to our philosophical anthropology series, Towards Happiness: Understanding the human person as relational and rational. Join us as we dive into what it means to be a human being.

In this class, we will cover:

• The mature integration of our personality finds its fruition in the gift of self to others, and ultimately to God.

• To give of oneself means freely to spend oneself for the sake of another’s good.

• Marriage and family have an indispensable role to play in forming our capacity for this self-gift, which radiates outward to other contexts as well, such as the gift of self in celibacy, or as friends, workers, citizens of our country and citizens of our planet.
