What to expect from a silent retreat:
An annual retreat may seem like a challenge when seen from the perspective of our busy schedules, but why not jump at the chance of a weekend away with your best friend in the world, Jesus? He is our main focus, so put cell phones away and keep other conversation to a minimum. During meal times, we will be listening to an audio recording of a spiritual reading book. Meditations guided by Fr. Luke Mata and talks presented by the staff punctuate the silent atmosphere that invites us into an ongoing intimate conversation with God. Daily Mass and the opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation flood our souls with grace, giving us a clearer perspective on the meaning of our lives.
